Richard A. Plezia, DDS, MS, MBA
|

|
Dr. Plezia attended the Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio where he obtained his dental degree in 1968. He
then pursued advanced training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Allen Park VA Medical Center. Additionally, Dr. Plezia
holds an MS degree in Biology and an MBA.
He is the Chief of the Dental Service at the John D Dingell VA Medical Center in
Detroit, MI and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.
Dr. Plezia has numerous
publications in peer reviewed journals and has been in involved in implant related research activity since 1982. He is a
Diplomate of the American Boards of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Board of Dental Anesthesiology.

Irving N. Riley Sr., DDS, MPH

Dr. Riley is a 1973 graduate of Howard University in
Washington, DC where he obtained his Doctor or Dental Surgery degree. He then furthered his training in Oral and Maxillofacial
Surgery at the same institution and earned his certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Riley holds a Masters of
Public Health degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. In addition to his private practice activity, he is
an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Detroit Mercy School
of Dentistry. Dr. Riley is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Louis Rissin, BA, DMD, FACP

Dr. Rissin obtained his dental education from the University
of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1970. He then pursued advanced education program in prosthodontics at the
Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he earned his Certificate in Prosthodontics in 1978. Dr. Rissin currently
holds the position of Director, Implant Center at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he is also an Associate
Professor. Dr. Rissin has a rich academic career where he held numerous positions in advanced dental education at the
University of Pennsylvania, Harvard University and Tufts to mention a few.
He is the recipient of several prestigious awards
such as the Mathew H. Cryer Scholastic Honorary Society at Penn and the Omicorn Kappa Upsilon at Harvard. Dr. Rissin has been
widely published and has acted as a consultant to several leading implant companies. He has lectured nationally and
internationally at leading dental meetings. Dr. Rissin is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics.

Stephen E. Soehren, DDS, MS

Dr. Soehren graduated from the University of Iowa in 1965 and obtained his Certificate in Periodontics from the Georgetown
University in 1973 and an MS degree in Oral Sciences from George Washington University in Washington, DC. Dr. Soehren is a
retired Colonel from the United States Army and a former Chairman of the Department of Periodontology at the University
of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.
He is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor,
School of Dentistry a board examiner on the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Soehren has lectured nationally and
internationally and has numerous publications is leading scientific journals. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of
Periodontology. |
